The funding of the National Programme will be a major challenge. The BAFA Board has agreed to make an annual financial commitment to the programme though this will in no way fund all the activities of the programme. Therefore, further sources of income will be targeted including:
•Grants
•Sponsorship
•Donations
•Merchandising
It has been agreed that participants within the programme should still be expected to make some contribution towards travel, accommodation and practice expenses.
Funding may be prioritised towards different teams within the programme depending on major competition dates.
All team budgets within the programme will be scrutinised by the BAFA Board and the NP Director. The NP Director will have the final sanction on budgets and fund allocation.
