NFL CAP Clinics Coaches Announced

Coaching Line-up unveiled

The coaching line-up for three UK-based clinics being held in the month of November by the NFL Coach’s Academy has been confirmed.

The two coaches who will oversee the sessions aimed at giving new and veteran coaches a core grounding in the skills needed to successfully run a football team boast a wealth of experience at the high school, college and professional level in the United States.

Dick Dullaghan has racked up more than 300 career victories at the high school level in the state of Indiana and is a member of the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

The former running back and defensive back at Butler University led Carmel High School (1978) and Ben Davis High School (1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 2001, 2002) to seven state titles. In 1991, he was named National High School Coach of the Year.

The coaching veteran also spent four years in the college football ranks, serving as wide receivers coach at Purdue and as offensive coordinator of Army.

Nick Fitzgerald has coached high school, college and professional football. He began his coaching career in 1990 as head coach of Watervliet High School. He has also served as special teams coordinator/recruiter at the University of Albany and special teams coordinator/tight ends coach at Rutgers University.

He has also served as an offensive assistant and defensive line coach for the Albany Firebirds, of the Arena Football League, winning a championship ring in 1999.

Both men have conducted numerous coaching clinics across the United States and will bring a wealth of experience to budding coaches in the United Kingdom.
