An announcement at the recent BAFA Convention confirmed the BAFL have been chosen to deliver the new flag association for adults in Great Britain.

Speaking on the task ahead, BAFL Chairman, Glen Schild, commented, “The BAFL Directorate are delighted to have the honour of setting up the association for Flag for GB. Over the coming weeks and months, the BAFL will be discussing the developments of this association with key stakeholders”. On a schedule for delivery, Glen added, “It is hoped that the organisation will recruit teams throughout 2007/8 (a recruitment process will be announced later this year) and the association will run its first season in 2008”.

A new website for BAFL Flag will be on line soon and can be accessed via www.bafl.org.uk.
