The British American Football Association works closely with a series of partners to develop the sport across the country.

Internationally BAFA is proud to be members of both IFAF, the International Federation for American Football, and EFAF, the European Federation for American Football.

Domestically BAFA is recognised by each of the Home Nations Sports Councils and UK Sport.

BAFA has membership of the Sports and Recreation Alliance. The Sport and Recreation Alliance is the umbrella organisation for the governing and representative bodies of sport and recreation in the UK and represents more than 300 members – organisations like The FA, the Rugby Football Union, UK Athletics, and British Rowing.

BAFA is a member of the National Council for School Sport and a Network Member of RunningSports.

Represented by its coaching and officiating Associations, BAFA has representation to Sports Coach UK and Sports Officials UK.

Alongside these, BAFA works closely with a range of other stakeholders in British and international sport.

Finally, BAFA is proud of its relationship with the National Football League through the NFL’s London Office.
