EFAF have made a late change to the rules which allows the GB Lions Youth to add new names to their squad for the 4 team tournament in Serbia (19th - 22nd August)

Explaining the changes, Head Coach Steve Rains said 'With several players away on holiday, injured or starting school in the USA there may well be places open in the 45 man travelling squad.'

'The opportunity to prove your value to the team happens this Saturday at Birmingham University - registration is at 0930 - the squad will be on the 3G astroturf all day.

Rains continued "This is a late change and we are sorry that there is such little notice - of course the 75 man squad we picked earlier in the year still stands - but this gives us the opportunity to add in some people where we currently have problems due to holidays etc - we particularly for example need a Tight End."

Any players not previously selected for the 75 man squad will have to prove their eligibility by bringing their GB passport with them on Saturday

Notes:
All players attending Saturday are required to bring with them the £140 for the Serbia trip - those who are not selected will have their money returned immediately
