The BAFA are delighted to confirm that Antonio Fargas, who played Huggy Bear in the seventies hit show, Starsky and Hutch, is flying to Great Britain from his home in Las Vegas to represent BAFA on the BingoLotto launch show.

Antonio, whose son, Justin Fargas, plays for Oakland Raiders in the NFL, has a huge love for American Football and always tries to get to game or two whenever he is in Great Britain. Eighteen months ago, Antonio was spotted in the crowd at the British American Football League (BAFL) National Championships - BritBowl XXI - at Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield by commentator, OJ Borg (see picture insert). Antonio has been a great friend of American Football in Great Britain ever since.

Commenting on BingoLotto, BAFA WSP Manager, Ken Walters commented, “BingoLotto is a fantastic opportunity for sports like American Football to receive funding for grassroots projects. We are delighted to be included and look forward to promoting BingoLotto and benefiting from the funding we will receive”.

Antonio arrives in Great Britain on Monday, February 25 and will appear at a number of promotional events including a photo-call at Trafalgar Square with current National Champions, London Blitz, on the run up to the show that is live on Virgin 1 and Challenge TV at 7:00pm Friday, February 29.
