As part of the BAFA modernisation programme, the GB Lions has re-branded. The new GB Lions logo, inspired by Wilson Sporting Goods, incorporates a Lions head with a mane that reflects the design identity of the Union Jack. The new logo is cost-effective to reproduce in both print and embroidery – and is also complimentary with the recently launched BAFA logo, utilising the BAFA colours, font package and design style.

Gary Marshall added, ‘The BAFA Board are delighted with the new design – it is hoped that the new logo will embraced by the wider BAFA community and become something that they will be proud to wear if they are selected to represent their country’.

The BAFA would like to thank Ryan Baker for his volunteer support to deliver the new logo in partnership with Ken Walters (BAFA WSP team advisor) and Stuart Preece (Wilson Sporting Goods).

In addition to the new identity for the NP, wider stakeholder meetings will be taking place in the not too distant future to modernise the National Programme.
