Training and Introduction for new referees!

The event is being held at The Coventry Hill Hotel, Rye Hill, Birmingham Road, Allesley, Coventry CV5 9PH, on Saturday 2nd February 2008. Details of the hotel location can be found at:

The event is being organised mainly for new recruits and officials who have taken up the stripes within the last two years. However, an open invitation is extended to anyone interested in becoming an Official. This will be the third event held in the last two years tailored solely toward newer officials. At the last event in January 2007 we had twenty-eight people turn up and everyone who came along thoroughly enjoyed the day. I’m sure we will get similar numbers attending again.

The programme will include some presentations, a practical session, video review and plenty of discussions on Rules and Mechanics.

To register your intention to attend, please send me an email and be there on the day for a starting time of around 9:30 - 10:00am. We should finish around 4:00pm at the latest. Tea and coffee will be provided.
