At a meeting of the National Council for School Sport (NCSS) at the Directory of Social Change, in London on Saturday 10th March, WSP Manager, Ken Walters and WSP Team Advisor, Andy Fuller (NFL), made a brief presentation in support of the recent application for membership by the BAFA.  The members present then voted on the application and it was unanimously accepted.

On becoming members, Ken Walters commented, “The BAFA will undoubtedly benefit from the initiatives the NCSS are involved in. In addition, there are many good practices in American Football that can benefit other NCSS member sports - we look forward to working with them in the future”.

On hearing the news, BAFA Chairman, Gary Marshall added, “The BAFA has achieved another important milestone in its development by becoming a member of the NCSS. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with both the NCSS and our fellow members”.

The BAFA would like to thank WSP Team Advisor, Andy Fuller (NFL), and former NCSS President, Patrick Smith MBE, for their valuable support and guidance during the application process.
