BAFA Convention Underway!

The first ever BAFA Convention is underway at the University of Leicester with a good turnout of Coaches, players and team officials.

At the opening presentation introduced by BAFA Chairman, Gary Marshall, an update on the Whole Sport Plan was delivered which detailed the exciting developments that are underway within the sport.

This was followed by the launch of the "Get Into American Football" campaign which is a BAFA Initiative aimed at anyone interested in the sport of American Football. The presentation coincided with the launch of the new website www.getintoamericanfootball.com.

The Convention welcomed the arrival of two top flight American Coaches from the United States. Brent Pease is the wide receivers coach at Boise State. Justin Roberts is the defensive line coach at Tennessee State.
